Car Launch 3D Tips: How to Reach 4,000 m Faster

These tips use the game's real numbers: how far each upgrade level takes you, what upgrades cost and how much distance turbo adds. Use them to plan your coins instead of guessing.

How far each level takes you

Your expected distance on a clean run depends on the lower of your Engine and Ramp levels. Every matched level adds about 200 m and about 18 km/h of launch speed. At level 20 a clean run reaches the 4,000 m finish.

15348 km/h3,000 m
18402 km/h3,600 m

What upgrades cost (first chapter)

Engine and Ramp cost the same and rise by about 18% per level. Income starts more expensive and rises by about 22% per level, but each Income level adds 24% to every coin you earn from runs.

5 → 61,4642,432

Turbo numbers

The first turbo burn in a run extends how far that run can go. Higher turbo levels also burn for longer.

Turbo levelExtra distanceBurn time
1+275 m1.3 s
2+370 m1.5 s
3+465 m1.8 s
5+655 m2.2 s
8+940 m3.0 s
10+1,130 m3.5 s

At turbo level 5 a single burn is worth +655 m: more than three matched Engine and Ramp levels.

The best upgrade order

  1. Engine and Ramp together, one level each. An unmatched level adds nothing, because distance follows the lower of the two.
  2. Two or three Income levels early in each chapter. At about +24% coins per level they pay for themselves within a few runs.
  3. Turbo whenever a run stops just short of a chest or the finish. Its flat distance bonus is the quickest fix for a near miss.
  4. Then back to Engine and Ramp pairs until a clean run reaches 4,000 m.

How chapters change the numbers

Finishing the 12th track starts a new chapter on the first track. Each chapter makes upgrades about 25% more expensive and rewards about 25% bigger, so the balance stays the same while the numbers grow.
